A new web site dedicated to Duty of Care has been launched by online driver risk assessment and e-driver training specialist E-Training World.
www.dutyofcareonline.co.uk will act as a focal point for giving UK businesses advice and information regarding their obligations under The Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007, which came into force this year.
“A lot of companies we talk to ask if there is anywhere they can access straight-forward, clear advice about duty of care”, said Graham Hurdle, E-Training World’s managing director. “There seems to be a frustration with fleet managers and company directors that the only information they can find appears to be designed to scaremonger, which is why we decided it was high time a plain speaking, informational web site was launched. Our aim is to grow this as a key portal for common sense advice”.
